No doubt this is going to be one crazy weekend. For most, a strong sense of wishing to be part of the action will bring about a myriad of emotions. To remedy any feelings of isolation, let’s take a journey and visit how the Jane Layne team transformed the Ballroom at Church Street into Luxe Lounge, a sanctuary filled with experiential relaxation stations.
Community Connection: Erica Berman, founder and heart behind Jane Layne Events, is headquartered in Orlando and is available for local as well as global occasions.
Originally from New York, Erica recognized the need for Orlando to have a boutique event planning ensemble offering distinctive, personal, and stylish support. Available for private as well as public undertakings, Jane Layne Events bring the feel and excitement of the Big Apple to City Beautiful. Nothing highlights more clearly her artistic abilities and vision than the Ballroom conversion.
Given the difficulties inherent to a shortened NBA season, Erica and group displayed to the world how Orlando not only can compete on the court, but also in the entertainment arena. With only a few months to prepare, her team brought together a diverse group of committed sponsors, including:
Peroni, Millenia Salon and Spa, Stella Luca Salon, Croton Watches, Godiva, Stephanie Wood, YYL Public Relations, Tracey Stern Salon Tea, Pepsi, and Heather on Earth.
During the next few days we’ll expand and recognize many of the above organizations who have dedicated time, money, and resources to ensure Orlando City Beautiful is well represented.
Community Connection: During our conversation, I asked Erica what attracted her to Orlando. Without hesitation, her response was that Orlando embraced her instantly; infusing a sense that Orlando was home… that Orlando is where she belonged.
On a personal note, I saw and felt the passion in her words… her desire to ignite culture, elegance, and connection was palatable. Orlando is fortunate to home this All Star formally recognized as Jane Layne Events. For additional information, visit her website at www.janelayne.com (impressed with her coordinating efforts and website, navigate to the services page and scroll through the plate-setting image to view the services offered).
Though the Big Game does not begin until Sunday evening, Erica and team controlled the tip seamlessly, proving once again that she truly is “a dynamic planning powerhouse.”
