National Night Out: Communities Ready for Block Parties

As National Night Out celebrations move into high gear later Monday evening, Orange County Jerry Sheriff Demings is expected to make several stops at various locations. 

National Night Out helps communities connect with law enforcement about their concerns. In Orange County, the annual block parties help strengthen partnerships between deputies and the communities they serve.

To encourage participation, every neighborhood was asked to enter the OCSO National Night Out contest, with the most creative communities to be honored during this countywide celebration.

The following are the contest winners:

1^st Place: 7:30 p.m. Orlo Vista and Hope Circle Communities

2^nd Place: 6:30 p.m. Park West HOA

3^rd Place: 6:00 p.m. South Pointe Subdivision
