Museum of Illusions Orlando is partnering with Match for an immersive singles event.
That’s right, one of Orlando’s most unique date night spots is bringing singles together for a one-of-a-kind meet cute this spring.
Museum of Illusions Orlando has partnered with Match (formerly Match.com) to invite members to an exclusive event to explore the ICON Park attraction. On March 27th at 7pm, attendees will embark on a guided group tour through the museum’s mind-bending exhibits with “Vintage Spring Break” overlays, creating shared moments of awe and laughter – perfect for breaking the ice.
“We’re excited to bring a fresh, nostalgic take to modern dating by combining Match’s community with the immersive, playful atmosphere of Museum of Illusions,” said George Youngdahl, Director of Museum of Illusions Orlando. “This ‘Vintage Spring Break’ event is the perfect way for singles to connect while experiencing something truly unique.
“Vintage Spring Break” goes through April 6th. This spring, Museum of Illusions Orlando will be transformed into a retro paradise, evoking the carefree energy of classic spring break getaways from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Themed décor, curated photo ops, and music from decades past will set the scene for guests to experience the retro charm that put Florida on the map.
“Vintage Spring Break” offerings include:
- Vintage Florida Overlays: Step into a throwback paradise featuring orange groves, surfboards, and a retro beachside motel aesthetic.
- Postcard-Worthy Exhibits: Snap a photo in front of a giant vintage Orlando postcard backdrop, perfect for Spring Break memories.
- Citrus & Sun Décor: Orange trees, groovy sunbursts, and tropical florals enhance the immersive, nostalgic feel.
- Props & Costumes: Giant sunhats, classic beach balls, and vintage sunglasses are available for guests to pose with.
- Retro Bar Illusion: A playfully distorted “vintage Florida beach bar” exhibit that bends reality while capturing old-school charm.
