A victim was beaten to death in a home invasion in Mount Dora on Sunday night, Orange County deputies said.
Investigators responded around 10:45 p.m., to a home in the 6500 block of Berg Drive, off Orange Blossom Trail.
A witness told deputies that three armed black males entered the residence and demanded money. Â The men robbed and beat a victim with an unknown blunt object on the head.
The victim died of head injuries at the scene.
Deputies have not released the identity of the victim.
Meanwhile, the suspects escaped in an unknown vehicle towards Orange Blossom Trail.
