Motorcyclist Killed on Interstate 4 Identified

The motorcyclist who was killed 0n Interstate 4, but whose body was not discovered until five hours later, has been identified.

Orlando police said, the driver of the 2007 Suzuki Motorcycle which crashed near State Road 408 entrance ramp is 25-year-old Azoth Brandao Bertarello. His immediate family lives in Brazil.

Police believe Bertarello was going westbound on Interstate 4, but struck a concrete pole when he traveled off the roadway, around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.  Bertarello’s body was not discovered until about five hours later when passing motorists spotted the crash and called police.

It is unknown whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.

Investigators are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Orlando Police Department at # 321-235-5300.

The crash remains under investigation.
