A Leesburg man was arrested Thursday, charged with multiple counts of possession and distribution of child pornography.
51-year-old John Edwards Shearen was taken into custody after Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents executed a search warrant at his home, in the 1400 block of Wild Harbor Lane in Leesburg.
Agents say, more than 500,000 to 1 million full length videos and images of child pornography, on multiple computers and mass media storage devices were found.
FDLE described Shearen as the “most notorious child porn downloader,” according to news reports.
Shearen was booked into the Lake County Jail on a no bond status.
