This Tampa mom has a lot of explaining to do, particularly why she allowed her temper to get the better of her.
35-year-old Daymaris Vazquez’s son, 12 years old, had just gotten an “F” on his report card. So when the child got to his Tampa home, mom decided to give him a beating. First, Vazquez began hitting him with a spatula. Next, she hit him and his glasses broke. Then, finally, mom decided to choke him, while threatening to kill the boy.
The boy took his beating like a champ, and it wasn’t until he visited his father (Vazquez and the boy’s father live separately) that the cops were called. The father noticed his son wasn’t wearing his glasses, so the boy told him the whole story, reports truecrimereport.com.
When police arrived, they found marks over the boy’s body.
Vasquez was arrested and charged with child abuse.
