The Miley Cyrus bong video is circulating fast on the Internet. The star of ‘Hannah Montana Forever’ on Disney Channel and singer is now dealing with the reality of smoking an hallucinogenic drug.
The Miley Cyrus bong video was apparently shot on a friend’s cell phone, then leaked to TMZ.
The bong video was taken at a party celebrating Miley Cyrus turning 18.
TMZ obtained the video, which was apparently stolen or copied from a friend’s camera phone. In the video, Miley Cyrus is seen taking a hit from the bong, giggling and saying “I’m having a bit of a bad trip.”
A source tells TMZ that it is not pot Miley Cyrus is smoking from the bong, but a hallucinogenic chemical called salvia (salvia divinorum), which is legal in California while illegal in several states.

After her hit, Miley Cyrus is heard comparing a party guest to her ex-boyfriend and fellow actor Liam Hemsworth.
Salvia produces psychedelic experiences, including uncontrollable laughter and overlapping realities, such as the perception of being in several locations at once.
A friend videotaping the Miley Cyrus bong video says “You’re gonna s**t a brick when you see this.”
The video shows Cyrus taking a hit from the bong as the song ‘Comedown’ by rock band Bush plays in the background.
Miley Cyrus takes the bong hit and talks about feeling the effects. She says she’s seeing things that aren’t there, including Hemsworth.
“Oh, I’m not gonna lose it now,” says Cyrus. “I’m going.”
“Having a little bit of a bad trip! Is that a f**king Liam lookalike or what the hell is that? Is that my boyfriend? Is that my boyfriend? Oh my God, he looks so much like Liam!”
She then points to her head and asks a friend, “Is it me tripping? Is it me tripping?”
“If it’s a legal drug, that’s certainly better than it being illegal. But that fact she’s smoking a bong at all is not a good thing from a PR perspective, because a drug is a drug. Some might say this drug is worse than marijuana because of its effects,” says Glenn Selig, founder of the crisis management PR firm, The Publicity Agency (www.thepublicityagency.com). “Miley Cyrus is so likeable and is loved by so many. This type of thing really does harm her image because the behavior is really irresponsible. Is this detrimental to her career? No. But this should be a wakeup call. She needs to be more responsible and less reckless, because a pattern of this behavior could cause her career harm.”
TMZ says the video was shot during a party at Cyrus’ L.A. area home five days after her 18th birthday.
