Lake County Commissioners and County Manager Darren Gray were invited to join U.S. Congressman John Mica for a meeting on Tuesday, June 7 at 3 p.m. to discuss transportation projects in the Central Florida region. The meeting will take place at MetroPlan Orlando, located at 315 E. Robinson St., Orlando.
The main goal of the meeting will be to discuss key issues and concerns regarding public transportation options for the region.
Representatives from across Central Florida, including Orange County and the Cities of Apopka, Eustis, and Tavares, along with key staff from Lake-Sumter MPO and Florida Central Railroad are also scheduled to be in attendance.
