Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs will be in attendance at the 2013 Economic Summit on January 10, 2013 from 8:30am-11:30am. The Orange County Economic Summit will feature award-winning forecaster, researcher and professor Dr. Sean Snaith of the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Economic Competiveness.
A panel discussion will feature representatives from the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, the Florida Realtors Association, Workforce Central Florida (the Chamber of Commerce), Visit Orlando, and K-12 and Higher Education interests.
The summit agenda includes an economic outlook update as well as a presentation on healthcare reform and local business impact. No word yet if that will include a discussion on Earned Sick Time in Orange County. A complimentary breakfast and time for networking are also components of the agenda.
The Economic Summit will take place at the Orange County Convention Center, North Concourse, Room 230. Complimentary parking will be available in the Nature Parking Lot.
