Masked Men Pistol Whip Two Sunbelt Credit Employees

Deputies are searching for a masked man, one of two suspects who undertook a violent robbery early on Wednesday.

Investigators said, the two masked men entered Sunbelt Credit at 6750 north Orange Blossom Trail just before 8:00 a.m., as employees were opening the business. The suspects ransacked the business and pistol whipped two of the employees. One of the suspects was arrested behind Sunbelt Credit and the other is still at large, investigators said.

The employees were taken to Florida Hospital to be treated for their injuries, whose severity is unknown.

Southbound traffic on north Orange Blossom Trail from the City of Apopka to Rose Avenue in Orlando was shut down for several hours.

Orlando Police Department, Apopka Police and Florida Highway Patrol are all assisting with the investigation.

This is a developing story. Check back later for more.
