Police are searching for man who robbed a Federal Trust Bank at gunpoint, in Eustis on Friday afternoon.
A white male suspect, entered the bank on CR 44 and SR 19, around 4:13 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash, police say.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who implied he had a weapon in his jacket pocket. The suspect then fled the bank, in a westbound direction.
No one was hurt during the armed robbery.
Police say, a K-9 tracked westbound on CR 44, but lost the track a short distance away.
The suspect is approximately 45-50 years, 6’0″ tall, about 250 pounds and was wearing a green camouflage mask and jacket, and dark colored jeans.
Eustis Police and Lake County Sheriff’s deputies are processing the scene for evidence.
