A man wanted into the fatal shooting of a Texas teen, turned himself into the Orlando police late Monday night.
Durick D. Ingraham, 24, is suspected of shooting to death Dino Cannon as he left Club Limelite on Orange Avenue in Orlando on June 15, police said.
Ingraham, who knew that he was being sought by police, turned himself in and was booked into the Orlando County Jail just after 11:00 p.m.
According to police, Cannon and Ingraham argued before he was ejected from the club. Detectives say, Ingraham waited outside until the Club closed and gunned down Dino in a nearby alley.
Dino, his parents and four siblings had come to Orlando from Texas to celebrate the teen’s graduation. Daphne Cannon, Dino’s mother, at a press conference following the shooting, described her son as a “good child,” who was and “awesome guy and clean.”
Ingraham has been charged with first degree murder with a firearm. He is being held without bond in the Orange County Jail. He will face a judge on Tuesday morning and is expected to plead not guilty to Cannon’s murder.
