A man was shot and killed early on Saturday morning and Lake County Sheriff’s deputies are still trying to determine the identify of the victim.
Investigators said that a 911 call was received around 12:45 am on Saturday morning regarding a shooting in the area of 1001 Wall Street in Eustis. When deputies arrived they found a black male victim, believed to be in his early thirties, who had been shot.
The victim was transported to Florida Hospital Waterman, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said that the victim has not been positively identified.
Detectives are continuing with the investigation.
