A man was shot dead in a Central Florida roadway as the community drove by a murder scene.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred on the 19000 block of Bruce B Downs Blvd at Regents Park Drive in Tampa.
“For our community to have to drive by a deceased male in the roadway is absolutely horrific,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “I implore the community to come forward if they have any information whatsoever. No tip is too small.”
HCSO’s Communications Center received a call at 2:51pm to reports of a person deceased after gunshots were fired in the roadway on Regents Park Drive. When deputies arrived, they found a deceased adult male.
Detectives were on scene actively investigating what transpired that afternoon.
