Orange County deputies are searching for a man who attempted to abduct a nine-year-old girl as she walked him from her bus stop on Wednesday afternoon.
According to investigators, the girl was near the intersection of Clarcona-Ocoee and Lake Sparling Roads around 2:15 pm, on Wednesday, when a black male, drove up to her in an older model, blue-green pickup. The truck had rust spots and medium to dark tinted windows.
The suspect exited the truck and tried to force the girl inside the vehicle, but she was able to free herself from the man and run away from the scene. A passing motorist, who realized the little girl needed assistance came to her aid.
The man is described as a black male, 5′ 10″ to 6′ 0″ tall, average weight, with curly black hair and a distinctive “black spot” on his lip. The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, long light-colored blue jeans with holes in the knees, and black sneakers that were untied.
