Titusville Woman, Convicted of Murder, Pleads for her Life

A Titusville woman who was convicted earlier this year of murdering her friend and housekeeper, took the stand on Thursday, pleading tearfully for her life.

Margaret Ann Allen, 44 years, was found guilty of killing Wenda Wright in 2005 and a jury recommended that she be put to death.

But, Allen said that she did not commit the murder and told a court in Viera that, “I should not be getting the death penalty for something I did not do.”
