Late on Tuesday night, deputies arrested a man who they say sexually battered a woman in her Poinciana home on Monday.
20-year-old Lyndon DeLeon Scott was taken into custody and booked into the Osceola County Jail. Â Scott has been charged with armed burglary, armed sexual battery, false imprisonment, among other charges.
Scott, who confessed to entering the home on Lucaya Drive, denied he forced the victim to perform a sex act.
The victim told investigators that Scott came to her home around 7:00 a.m., on Monday and repeatedly rang the door bell. Â Although she recognized him, she didn’t let him in the house as she was scared. Â She told investigators he forced his way in through an unlocked back door and sexually battered her.
The woman was able to positively identify Scott, investigators said.
