Police have arrested a suspect who they say is responsible for shooting to death of another man, in November.
Tony C. Berry, 32, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with the murder of Jason Cooper, 36, and attempted second degree murder of Kenneth Paine, 41.
Police say, Berry had a dispute with Cooper and Paine and he shot both victims at 301 S. Orange Blossom Trail on November 23, 2013. Cooper died of complications from his gunshot wounds on December 8. Paine survived the shooting.
On February 7, investigators obtained a warrant for Berry’s arrest. He faces several charges including second degree murder with a firearm, attempted second degree murder with a firearm and contempt of court, among others.
Berry was booked into the Orange County Jail, without bond.
