Man Arrested for Racing, Reckless Driving on Turnpike

Gregory Roselli

A New Jersey man is in jail charged with reckless driving and racing on the Turnpike, Florida Highway Patrol said.

30-year-old Gregory Roselli was arrested by troopers on Friday, after he was caught racing on SR 91 near mile maker 258.

FHP said, Roselli was part of a group of about 15 high end sports cars racing southbound on the Turnpike.

Roselli’s 2011 Audi struck a barrier wall when one of his rear tires separated and he lost control of the car. His vehicle then struck the rear of a 2004 Honda, driven by 47-year-old Holly Sadler of Summerfield, Florida.   Two other vehicles were hit by flying debris, troopers said.

There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

Roselli, who was arrested for reckless and racing on a public highway, was booked into the Orange County Jail.
