The Orlando Magic and 740 The Game WYGM have announced a contract extension for the station to continue to serve as the host of “Magic Drive Time with Dante Marchitelli,” a radio show that gives fans the latest information on their Orlando Magic and the NBA.
Approaching its third season, “Magic Drive Time with Dante Marchitelli” debuts October 7 and concludes one week after the final Magic game of the season. The show, which airs Monday-Friday from 5:30-6 p.m., is hosted by Marchitelli and features a rotation of guests, including General Manager Rob Hennigan, Head Coach Jacque Vaughn, Magic players, broadcasters and NBA personalities. Along with Marchitelli, Jake Chapman will be entering his third season as executive producer and back-up host of the show.
Marchitelli is entering his 15th season with the Orlando Magic. In addition to hosting “Magic Drive Time,” he also splits his time as the pregame host/sideline reporter for both FOX Sports Florida and the Magic Radio Network. Marchitelli began his career with the Magic in 1998 as a radio intern.
