Longwood Woman Wins $1 Million Prize Playing $10,000,000 Florida Cash Scratch-Off

The Florida Lottery announces that Tracey Burns, 47, of Longwood, claimed a $1 million prize in the $10,000,000 FLORIDA CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Burns chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,462.00. She purchased her winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 2040 West Highway 434 in Longwood. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $25 game, $10,000,000 FLORIDA CASH, features more than 11 million winning tickets and more than $624 million in total cash prizes! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.88.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 67 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $632 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2014-15.
