Orlando Auto Accident Lawyer and UCF alumnus Michael T. Gibson of the Orlando-based personal injury law firm of Michael T. Gibson, P.A., was recently nominated for the UCF Alumni Jefferson Award in the category of College Chapter Volunteer of the Year.
“It is an honor to be nominated for this award by my alma mater,” Michael T. Gibson said. “Volunteering my time and helping those in need is a passion of mine. UCF is very special to me and I am happy to help the school, its students and the law program in any way that I can.”
For six years, the University of Central Florida has been celebrating its most active volunteers for their countless acts of kindness with the UCF Alumni Jefferson Awards Reception. The UCF Alumni Community Volunteers Chapter hosts the awards reception where active volunteers are recognized for their public service.
The National Jefferson Awards were founded in 1992 and is a nationwide program that recognizes people who serve and honor their communities. Past national winners include: Henry Kissinger, Alan Greenspan, Gen. Colin Powell, Justice Thurgood Marshall, John Glenn and Condoleezza Rice.
