Just in time for the Labor Day holiday, Wawa will celebrate the grand opening of a new store Thursday near the Orlando International Airport, at the intersection of Route 436 and Lee Vista Boulevard.
Officials say, Orlando residents and travelers will now have the opportunity to fuel up with fair and comparable gas prices through Wawa’s commitment to value pricing and no hidden fees.
For years there have been complaints of price gouging at petrol stations such as Sun Gas and Suncoast, as well as, inadequate signage of gas prices.
Tomorrow, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will unveil a price sign revealing significant price reductions at the pump. Dyer is also expected to speak about Wawa’s highly visible price sign and fair business practices.
During the grand opening event, local officials, members of Second Harvest Food Bank, local heroes, Wawa associates and community members will also participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony and; just after the ribbon cutting, witness a charitable hoagie building competition featuring the Orlando Fire Department.
