WHAT: Mural painting project will introduce art to the playground at Lake Silver Elementary School.
Colorful murals will be painted by community volunteers to help beautify the playground area. The playground is used by more than 60 special education students at Lake Silver Elementary School. When it is finished, 11 painted murals will cover the wheelchair accessible playground. With help from the school’s PTA and teacher Susan Daugherty, all materials and labor are being donated by local businesses and individuals.
