Kissimmee is America’s top vacation rental hot spot for 2011, TripAdvisor, world’s largest travel site revealed on Thursday.
Located in Orlando metropolitan area, Kissimmee topped the list of 10 destinations in which selections were based on TripAdvisor search data and site editors.
With its balmy weather and family-friendly activities, Kissimmee has 959 vacation rentals on TripAdvisor. It is also home to Disney World, the world’s largest and most visited recreational resort, located 21 miles southwest of Orlando. According to TripAdvisor, potential vacation rental savings in Kissimmee amount to $750 for a week-long trip.
Other top vacation rental hot spots for 2011, include Big Bear Lake in California, Destin in Florida, Kihei in Hawaii and the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
