Orange County Sheriff’s investigators have arrested Robert Pascale, 20 years, in connection with the death of another man at 5th Avenue in Bithlo. Detectives found Pascale hiding in a muddy pond near 6th and 10th street, with only his face exposed for air.
According to OCSO:
At approximately 4:24 AM on Tuesday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous 9-1-1 call in reference to a body inside a residence at 18846 5th Avenue in Bithlo. Deputies responded to the address and located the body of an elderly male inside the residence. There were elements at the scene suggesting that the man’s death may be the result of a homicide.
After interviewing witnesses and with good investigative work, Orange County homicide investigators tracked down and arrested Robert Pascale, 20. Pascale was tracked by a K-9 and his handler. He was found in a muddy pond near 6th and 10th street, with ony his face exposed for air.
Pascale has been charged with first degree murder with a weapon.
Detectives are not releasing the name of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.
Pascale has a long rap sheet which dates back to 2003. He has been previously charged with grand theft, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and possession of cannabis.
