U.S. police want your help to find a 44-year-old Jamaican man, who they claim has duped churches and church-goers in Central Florida of at least $450,000.

Lerron Carlton Heslop is accused of bilking churches by presenting himself as a wealthy businessman from a religious family in Jamaica.

Heslop allegedly sells the story that he has bible colleges and churches in the Caribbean, and to entice them even more to donate, he promises big cash in return through investment of money in Jamaican land.

But Florida Department of Law Enforcement says that return on investment never materializes.

Police think Heslop has also pulled this scam in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, New York and Canada — raking in at least $1m since 1996. Heslop is 5’8” and weighs about 200 pounds. He also wears his hair very short and may sport a goatee or moustache.

Police are also looking for Heslop’s wife, Thelsa Saleta Fearon-Heslop. If you know or have seen Heslop call 1-800-CRIME-TV.
