It’s back! Back to school and time for Central Florida families to get free backpacks, school supplies, health screenings, haircuts, important information, and more. The Hope Now back-to-school bash will take place on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the largest back-to-school expo in Central Florida.
The Hope Now International, in conjunction with sponsors and supporters will provide 10,000 backpacks, 1000 immunizations for which student pre-registration is required and has already been filled, 400 dental screenings, t00 health screenings and 1,500 haircuts all free for students.
The HNI team headed by Michael Radka, once again, aims to provide the area’s families with what they need to get ready for the 2014-2015 school year. Starting fresh means students need a variety of items and services to be successful in class.
Each year the HNI Back 2 School Expo serves as a resource for so many families who need the donated goods and services, or else may go without. Their joy in receiving what so many contribute shows in the faces of students of all ages, parents, and the volunteers who donate their time to make the event a success.
The Red Carpet Teachers’ Lounge will be open to educators who have pre-registered. They receive classroom supplies, great donations from vendors, free massages, and time to relax and reconnect with fellow educators before the first day of school.
