The Art Basel Miami Beach is the premier art show in the United States and it gets underway today, December 3rd. Over 2,000 artists’ works will be on display from more than 250 exclusive art galleries from various continents–North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. Many hoteliers have seen an an uptick in demand for rooms and are wondering if at the close of the art show on December 6th, whether it will last.

The real test begins Sunday after the country’s largest contemporary art show turns off the lights at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
