There are reports that Casey Anthony, will plead guilty to the charges concerning her check fraud case next Monday, January 25th.
Anthony, 23 years, faces 13 counts for check fraud. She is accused of stealing checks from her former friend, Amy Huzienga, and cashing them. Sources say that this has all been caught on video tape and so, apparently, there is no way out of this one. Hence, there is speculation that, Anthony has made a plea offer which Judge Stan Strickland will decide whether to accept or reject at next Monday’s hearing.
Strickland is also expected to consider two other motions in relation to Anthony’s murder case.
Anthony, who is in the Orange County jail, is also charged with first degree murder in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. She has maintained that her daughter was kidnapped by a baby sitter, although there has been no evidence to support this claim.
Anthony’s murder trial is expected to begin this summer, although it could be delayed.
If convicted, Anthony could face the death penalty.
