In-Person ‘Food for Thought’ Tours Return to Second Harvest Food Bank

After pressing pause in March 2020, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is inviting the community back for an in-person, behind-the-scenes look at its facilities to learn more about hunger in our community and the ways that the nonprofit is working to meet this critical need. The tour is free and lunch will be provided to tour participants, but pre-registration is required.

On Wednesday, April 6th, “Food for Thought” tour participants will get an inside look at the food bank’s active warehouse and distribution center, seeing first-hand how Second Harvest distributes enough food for a quarter of a million meals a day. Attendees will also learn about the different programs Second Harvest maintains to help feed those experiencing food insecurity across Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard counties.

To register, visit the “Food for Thought” tour page.
