I-Drive Robbers Go High Tech

Orlando Police detectives are searching for three suspects who robbed an electronics store on International Drive early on Monday morning, making off with thousands of dollars in merchandise.

According to police, three male suspects broke through the rear double doors of Buy Best Brazil located at 5176 I-Drive around 3:30 am on Monday morning.

Video surveillance shows that, possibly a dark colored Ford Econoline van was used to back into the rear door to force it open.   The video also shows three males entering the store.

The suspects stole a large amount of merchandise, including:

4 LCD TVs
10 new lap top computers
1 used lap top computer
12 Nintendo Wiis

Head manager, Celso Pedrosa told police that an initial estimate of the merchandise stolen is valued around $12,700, although a proper inventory was needed to determine an exact figure.

Damage to property was estimated to be $5,000.
