Housing Crisis Town Hall October 11th

The Home Defenders League will hold a town hall focused on the housing crisis and foreclosures in Central Florida on Thursday, October 11th at 6pm. The town hall will take place at the Englewood Community Center located at 6123 La Costa Drive, Orlando 32807.

The group says there is $1 billion sitting in Florida’s “Hardest Hit Fund” to help homeowners and their families who have been hit the hardest by the current housing crisis. The Home Defenders League contends politicians in Tallahassee are playing games and holding the people’s money hostage while foreclosures in our community are on the rise.

Ten local, state and congressional candidates have confirmed their attendance and the event will be moderated by Magda Torres from En Agenda Radio 1440am.
