A robbery that took place last night, involving the theft of an ATM as well as the burglary of several convenience stores, has been thankfully thwarted, and the suspects apprehended.
Cfnews13 reports that a truck was chased by police to 17th and Hawthorne Ave in Apopka. Â The stolen ATM was in the back of the truck and inside the truck police found masks believed to have been used in the burglaries.
Deputies believe the suspects then ran to the side of a house where they dropped some cash, some rolled coins, another mask and gloves and got into another vehicle which deputies stopped just a few blocks away.
