Holiday Drone Light Show Coming to Orlando’s Lake Eola Park

The City of Orlando is inviting residents to celebrate the season with a holiday drone light show at Lake Eola Park. The free show will take place on Sunday, December 11th at 7pm.




The drone show will last about ten minutes, according to the City of Orlando. “Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a dazzling display of synchronized drones create beautiful holiday-themed designs,” the City posted about the show.

There are also other free happenings in downtown Orlando this weekend.

There is a Violectric Holiday Show at the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park on Saturday, December 10th at 7pm. Renowned “Vinylinist” and Founder of Violectric, Michelle Jones, and the Central Florida strings super-group will perform a free, 90-minute concert. Violectric partnered with Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to create a pet-friendly show, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will also return for meet-and-greets and family and pet photos.

The Orlando Holiday Market will be open 4:30pm to 9pm on Saturday and will be open 5pm to 8pm on Sunday. The market is on the east side of Lake Eola Park, and there are 30 local vendors with products ranging from soaps, candles, jewelry, and more.

Snow will fall in downtown Orlando on Washington St. by the Lake Eola House (located near the intersection of E. Washington St. and N. Eola Dr.). The 15-minute snowfall schedule is: Friday and Saturday at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm; and Sunday at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm.

You can also meet Santa at the Lake Eola House on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30pm to 9pm and on Sundays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
