History Center Town Hall Meeting with Candidates for Sheriff

 

  

 
The Orange County Regional History Center will host a town hall meeting with the candidates for Orange County Sheriff on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. The community will have an opportunity to meet candidates Jerry Demings and John Tegg and to ask questions. This event is free and open to the public.
This town hall meeting is hosted by the History Center in conjunction with the program Vote R.I.G.H.T. (offered through November 4) which travels to local schools encouraging students ages 18 and older to vote by educating them on the voting process.


Vote R.I.G.H.T. Partners: Orange County Supervisor of Elections, Orange County Community Action, Orange County Regional History Center, Orange County Public Schools, and Orange TV.
Orange County Regional History Center is located at 65 East Central Boulevard in downtown Orlando. General admission regularly is $9, seniors (60+) are $7, and children ages 5-12 are $6. Visitors receive two hours of free covered parking at the Orlando Public Library garage adjacent to the museum with paid admission.
