Goodwill Celebrates ‘Be a Good Neighbor Day’

On Tuesday, September 28th, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida invites the community to celebrate “Be a Good Neighbor Day” by making one or more donations to benefit their neighbors across Central Florida. Anyone interested in participating is asked to drop off at least one item at their local Goodwill store or Donation Xpress Center.

Residents are encouraged to donate gently used clothing, household goods and certain electronics, including lamps, MP3 players, iPods and clock radios in working condition. Goodwill also accepts computers and cell phones in working and non-working condition.

Donations play a key role in providing resources and jobs to Central Floridians. Revenue generated through sales of these donated items fund the organization’s job placement and training services, as well as its vocational rehabilitation program.
