Analysts are uncertain in which direction the price of crude oil will go. Some are predicting that by year end crude will rist to $75 a barrel, while other project that it will drop to $58. Gasoline prices bear some correlation to the price of crude oil.
During the summer time, invariably the demand for gas jumps in line with with family vacations. Not so this year, says AAA Auto Club, which has seen very little increase in demand in the past four weeks. The economic recession, it is believed, has kept many road travelers at home, for a change.
