Gary Sain, chief executive of Visit Orlando, who passed away suddenly on Friday night, is being remembered by local leaders, colleagues and friends throughout Central Florida.
Sain, 61, fell ill following his opening remarks at a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida at the Orlando World Center Marriott. Â Sain was rushed to Florida Hospital Celebration Health where he was pronounced dead.
As condolences continue to pour in, Sain has been credited for his leadership and vision in making Orlando/Orange County a leading tourist destination.
