Free Seasonal Flu Shots + H1N1 Mist

In addition to free seasonal flu shots, H1N1 flu mist will be available for free at two Get Healthy Florida Fast & Free events in November; a third event has been postponed due to a delay in manufacturer production.

In addition to 1,200 seasonal flu shots provided by a grant from Florida Hospital’s Community Health Impact Council (CHIC), Orange County Health Department (OCHD) will provide 1 thousand vaccinations of H1N1 Swine Flu nasal mist at each event. The events will be held on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. The H1N1 flu mist is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for healthy people 2 to 49 years of age who are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
