Frank Gay Services Partners with UCF Athletic Association

Frank Gay Services announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the UCF Athletic Association, expanding its presence and branding to the university’s football, basketball and baseball facilities and programs. For example, beginning with the upcoming 2022-23 season, the company will provide dedicated Frank Gay cool zone areas within the east and west corridor of the university’s stadium concourses.

“For nearly 50 years, Frank Gay Services has served Central Floridians with professional cooling, heating, plumbing and electrical services,” said Frank Gay Services General Manager John Colloca. “We are excited to now serve as the official home services partner of UCF Athletics and to enhance the live sports experience for Knights fans.”

“We’re pleased to be working with Frank Gay Services to improve the gameday experience for our UCF fans,” said Terry Mohajir, UCF vice president and director of athletics. “We once again expect our home football games to be sold out on a regular basis, and we know we can count on the Frank Gay staff to keep our fans comfortable.”

Each Frank Gay cool zone will offer an area for fans to sit and escape the heat during home football games, with patio furniture and industrial-size misting fans. As part of the agreement, Frank Gay Services will be represented across UCF’s additional football, basketball and baseball programs and venues. The company will also partner throughout UCF Athletics’ digital, print and broadcast assets, to include sponsoring and participating in the Knight Talk football coaches’ show. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The first UCF football game to be played at UCF’s newly renamed FBC Mortgage Stadium will be the Knights’ 2022 season opener in Orlando on Thursday, September 1st, against South Carolina State.
