Florida Senator Marks 100 Days of American Hostages in Hamas Captivity

This week, Florida Senator Rick Scott marked 100 days of American hostages in Hamas terrorist captivity.

The Republican Senator released the following statement slamming Democratic President Joe Biden for allowing innocent Americans, Israelis and others to hit the 100-day mark as hostages of Iran-backed Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

The atrocities committed by Iran-backed Hamas terrorists during their October 7th attack, and their ongoing war in Israel, have killed nearly 1,400 innocent people, and at least 33 Americans. The Florida Senator is demanding the Biden administration bring American hostages home and has been a leading supporter of Israel defending itself and destroying Hamas.

“It is unbelievable and infuriating that an American president has allowed U.S. citizens to be held hostage by savage Iran-backed Hamas terrorists for 100 days,” Florida Senator Rick Scott said. “These innocent Americans and the others held hostage in Gaza should have been safely reunited with their families months ago. President Biden’s unprecedented weakness has denied them that freedom while he continues to funnel American tax dollars to the Palestinian Authority which is paying terrorists and sending money to Gaza which only helps Hamas. Outside of my office in Washington, I have a poster displaying the photos of these innocent hostages and I will not take it down or stop fighting for action until they all come home. These Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and brutally beheaded babies, burned people alive, raped and murdered young women and are STILL holding Americans hostage. Biden needs to show strength NOW. These families have spent far too many days separated from their loved ones and today marks a somber milestone. Enough is enough.”

Along with his statement, Senator Scott shared a video sent to him by an Israeli women of the memorial that has been created at the site of the Nova Music Festival massacre:
