Florida Man Indicted for Possession of More Than Pound of Fentanyl

A Florida man was indicted for the possession of more than a pound of multi-colored fentanyl.




32-year-old Issac Darnell Henderson, of Jacksonville, was charged by federal indictment with possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, including more than a pound and a half of fentanyl.

On February 14, 2024, the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant for a residence belonging to Henderson and recovered more than one and a half pounds of multi-colored fentanyl.

The indictment also notifies Henderson that the United States intends to forfeit assets, which are alleged to be traceable to proceeds of the offense.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment. U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.

This Florida drug case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration. It will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Rachel Lasry. The forfeiture is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Nicole Andrejko.
