Today, Florida Attorney General, Bill McCollum filed suit against two major Internet travel companies, Expedia and Orbitz.
The suit claims that although the travel companies have collected millions of tax dollars for hotel room rentals made through their online companies, they have returned only a fraction to the State of Florida. Further, the suit claims that the remainder was instead held back as profit.
