Five Years On: Police Ask for Help in Solving Double Homicide

Kissimmee detectives, five years later, are still working to identify the killers of a double homicide at the Willows Apartment Complex.  On Monday detectives will be at the apartment complex, between 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., handing out fliers about the incident.

Alejandro Rivera and Hector Santiago, were robbed and shot multiple times in the early morning hours of November 20, 2006. The pair were confronted by 3-4 Hispanic males in the parking lot of the Willows Apartment Complex at 1640 West Carroll Street.

The suspects were described to be in their mid to late twenties. They fled in a light colored small vehicle with dark bumpers.

Rivera’s family members will also be holding a candlelight vigil at the location.

“We are asking anyone with information to come forward and help bring closure to this family,” said Corporal Omar Berrio, “Any little piece of information is valuable to this case.”
