The Bengel’s Burgers Five Guys Burgers & Fries franchise will soon open its 16th Central Florida location. The new restaurant is in downtown Orlando on Church Street, next to the railroad track.
The restaurant will open Monday, March 28. The 3,400-square-foot facility will seat 100 people, with additional seating outside. Fifty to 60 employees will be hired to work at this location, which will be the first Central Florida Five Guys to sell beer. The store will stay open until 3 a.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
“We are especially excited about this new location,” said Bengel’s Burgers Managing Partner Brandon Bengel. “It’s in a great spot in the heart of downtown Orlando within walking distance of the new Amway Center.”
The Bengel’s Burgers Five Guys franchise has locations in Orange, Osceola, Volusia and Brevard Counties and employs nearly 400 people across Central Florida. Construction will begin next week on the new downtown Orlando location. T.J. Flynn is construction managing the project, his 10th for Bengel’s Burgers.
