Five children died in a house fire in Citra, Marion County, on Monday night.
Three brothers — Joseph Jordan, 15, Austin Jordan, 13, and William Jordan Jr., 8 — and their two sisters — Shyanne Jordan, 12, and Trinity Jordan, 6 — were killed in the fire at 1760 N.E. 182nd Place. Their 21-year-old aunt, Kyla Cole, was severely burned.
The young woman and two girls were taken to area hospitals, said Marion County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Peveeta Persaud. Firefighters later found the bodies of the boys in the charred remains of the 1,400-square-foot wooden house.
