Fentanyl, Meth, Guns Seized as Daytona Beach Drug Dealer Arrested

A Daytona Beach drug dealer who was distributing trafficking amounts of fentanyl is now behind bars with a bond of more than $1.6 million after a Central Florida task force investigation led to his arrest.




In early 2023, detectives with the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force determined Javaris Allen-Holt was trafficking fentanyl throughout the greater Daytona Beach area.

Last week, a search warrant executed at Tomoka Road, Daytona Beach, and the search yielded the recovery of almost a kilogram of fentanyl, 26 grams methamphetamine, four firearms and ammunition, $17,855 cash and various items used in the manufacture of fentanyl.

Allen-Holt was arrested on charges of armed trafficking in fentanyl, manufacturing fentanyl, armed trafficking in methamphetamine, renting/maintaining a structure for drug trafficking, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with a total bond of $1,650,500. The East Volusia Narcotics Task Force is a team effort with members from the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, Ormond Beach Police Department, Holly Hill Police Department, Port Orange Police Department, South Daytona Police Department, City of Edgewater Police Department, and New Smyrna Beach Police Department.
