No one expects to end up dead from drinking an energy drink.
But on Monday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it is looking into the reports of 5 deaths that may be associated with Monster Beverage Corp’s energy drink, reuters.com reported.
Monster is being sued by the family of a 14-year-old girl who died after she drank two cans of the Monster Energy drink in a 24-hour period, the news service also reported.
The FDA also said it had received reports of five deaths and one heart attack that might be associated with the Monster Energy drink.
